BYD Reveals Fang Cheng Bao Ti 9 Interior Ahead of China Launch

BYD unveiled a video showcasing the interior design of the Fang Cheng Bao Ti 9. The cabin features white finishes accented with subtle golden details, highlighted by a 30-inch floating touchscreen in the central console, an LCD instrument cluster, and a head-up display. The vehicle incorporates a column-mounted gear shifter behind the steering wheel, with a wireless phone charger, dual cup holders, and physical controls integrated into the center tunnel. The interior includes ambient lighting, minimalist door cards, and an armrest-mounted refrigerator accessible to rear-row passengers. Suede-covered front pillars and ceiling enhance the cabin refinement.

The full-size crossover measures 5,270 millimeters long, 1,999 millimeters wide, and 1,850 millimeters tall, with a 3,130-millimeter wheelbase. It rides on 22-inch wheels and features roof-mounted LiDAR. Exterior design highlights include semi-concealed door handles, ring-shaped running lights, vertically arranged taillights, and pronounced fender lines. Despite its muscular appearance, the Ti 9 employs a monocoque construction with DiSus-P Ultra hydraulic suspension and rear-axle steering capability.

Power comes from a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 115 kilowatts (154 horsepower) combined with two electric motors delivering 400 kilowatts (536 horsepower) total. The 66.5 kWh battery enables a maximum electric range of 310 kilometers, supporting rapid charging from 10 to 97 percent in nine minutes. The vehicle achieves a combined range of 2,300 kilometers.
